Pilates, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® training keeps me balanced, mindful and healthy. Having danced professionally many years becoming a teacher was the next logical step. I still remember the day a friend took me to a Pilates studio in New York City in 2000. I had never heard of Pilates before, but when I entered the Kelly Kane School of Core Integration I knew I wanted to spend more time studying how the body moves. I already understood it from a dancer’s perspective but wanted to learn looking at it with a teacher’s eye. I became a certified Pilates Instructor in 2001, certified GYROTONIC® Instructor in 2010 and a certified GYROKINESIS® Instructor in 2019.
I have been teaching almost daily since. There is a never ending curiosity and passion for guiding individuals in optimizing their physical potential. Pilates, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® are great tools to help people connect body and mind. It helps people stay fit, improve posture, relieve back pain, decrease stress and anxiety, gain strength and remain present in their body.
